Parents are the first and most important teachers. A valuable my parents have taught me is to always watch my back. Growing up in a big city, where there is a lot of crime, my parents always said to be aware of your surroundings. This means that I always should look around for shady people and if I suspect anything to call someone or run away from any trouble. This is a very valuable lesson that has been constantly taught to me over the years so if I get in trouble I will be safer than before.
